(plus a $40 microchip fee) All pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center have been spayed or neutered, have up-to-date vaccinations and microchip identification.

Judie is a young German Shepherd with a sad story. She escaped her yard on July 4th, due to fireworks and got her leg tangled in a fence. After being stuck for quite some time with damage to her leg, her family gave her up due to the cost of medical bills. The vet was unable to save her leg and GSROC stepped in to rescue her.
Judie is currently in a foster home. Her foster mom is happy to report that she is very affectionate, attentive and enjoys being with other dogs. She's a little vulnerable as she's recovering, but she's still able to run like the wind.
